Weather Talk

August is here and I can feel the change in the season. We just got through an unbearable hot and humid few weeks in central Cali, and we're finally enjoying the most amazing weather with another two months to go on hot Cali weather. This IS the life! Originally being from eastern Canada I always appreciate the sunshine here. But the cool mornings and evenings remind me that September is on its way. The sun is shining just a little brighter - blinding! And there's a touch of breeze now and then. And yes, I did plant my tomatoes a little too late in the summer, so I don't have much hope for them producing any fruit. That's okay, it was good practice, and I'll just keep watering them until they give up first.

Sorry to hear about all the hot weather going on in other parts of the country. Humid in the rest of the country can be awfully miserable. Atleast we haven't been getting any big news about storms and hurricanes.
