A Thought for Thursday
Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?"
Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the One that he has sent." (John 6:28,29)
The disciples were constantly focused on the "doing". Yet Christ continually reminded them about "being". In my actions and doing, who am I being - loving? patient? peaceful? trusting in God? believing in God? Christ is telling the disciples look to your own heart first, always.
